First and foremost, our mission is survival—learning to build, grow, live, and thrive off the land the good Lord has blessed us with. We aim to create a legacy that outlives us all, one that future generations can carry forward. And we want to show others how we did it, so they can do it too.
We’re a simple family who left Florida for Alaska, seeking to disconnect from the chaos of the world and reconnect with nature. The journey that brought us here was long and wild, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We’re trying to learn how to live off the land—building a greenhouse to grow our own vegetables, keeping chickens alive long enough to get some eggs, maybe even raising a few goats for milk, cheese, and meat. Honestly, we’re not entirely sure where this journey will take us—we’re just seeing what we can accomplish.
We’re doing this with little to no prior knowledge, relying heavily on the wisdom of our community and online groups. So, if you’re here wondering whether you could do this too, I can tell you with confidence… you absolutely can.
Everything about this—our lifestyle, the website, social media—it’s all new to us. It’s a work in progress, and we’re figuring it out as we go.
But first and foremost, we have to work our land to survive, which means we can’t always be 100% focused on social media. With spring coming, our time becomes even more precious, and updates sometimes take a back seat.
Just know that we’re trying, and we’ll share updates as often as we can. We truly appreciate your support and interest in what we’re doing—thank you for following along!
